Do You know the latest trends in robotics in 2022?

Andreas from roboticsfriday.tech discovering trends in robotics in 2022

During the last months I started roboticsfriday.tech as a project to share mainly my thoughts about robotics. My original goal was to share some news on a weekly basis, and I feel blessed that many of you read my articles regularly. But it also has been my goal to bring to you the latest trends in robotics.

Thus, during the last weeks I came to the conclusion, that I want to put my blog on a broader foundation. Rather than sharing my experience, I want to transform roboticsfriday.tech to a more interactive project by interviewing experts and people who inspired me along my way.

Video killed the radio star

This new format will also include short videos which are bringing some complexity to my content production process. So, in the last weeks I prepared myself which was quite time consuming. So, I had to set my original target of weekly publications aside for the moment.

My idea was to develop a format which will allow you to iteract and participate, for example by suggesting topics or – ultimately – by engaging in an interview setting with me.

IFFA in Frankfurt: All about smart meat processing

I also decided that I want to cover some exhibitions for you in 2022 in order to be able to publish discussions about current trends in robotics I recorded with both, users and suppliers . Starting with IFFA in May, my target is to find out how smart meat processing looks like and how the industry is dealing with the global shortage of skilled labor (and if this is also true in the meat industry).

Finally, it’s Automatica time again in Munich

In June, I will do a special about Automatica and I am curious how the most important exhibition for robotics in Germany will look like after a pause of four years and which trends I will discover there.

In general, I am interested in topics like ease of use, codeless programming, AI in robotics, smart vision systems and many more.

Then, I want to see the developments of the last years having been applied to digital twins for cutting down commissioning times.

While IFFA will give me the chance to dive into a very specific application, at Automatica everything will be about the core products so let me know in the comments below if you visit either of these exhibitions as well and in which topics you are interested in.

And who knows? Maybe I will see you in Frankfurt or in Munich?

I am looking forward to meeting the robotics community finally in person again.

LET’S KEEP IN TOUCH!
